Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PassMark Sri Lanka ("PassMark", "we", "us"), an O/L exam preparation platform. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PassMark provides Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) practice, past-paper-style quizzes, a Daily Quiz habit feature, and progress tracking for Sri Lankan O/L students, across Main and Elective subjects in English, Sinhala, and Tamil mediums where available.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid mobile number to register and log in via one-time password (OTP).
• You are responsible for keeping your account (and the device/number used to receive OTPs) secure.
• Accounts are intended for individual student use and should not be shared.

3. Free Access & PassMark Pro

• Main subjects (e.g. core O/L subjects) are available to all registered students on a free daily-question-limit basis.
• Elective subjects and the removal of the daily question limit require a paid upgrade — either individual elective purchases or a PassMark Pro subscription — processed through our payment partner, PayHere.
• Pro benefits (e.g. unlimited daily questions, AI explanations, past-paper mode) remain active for the duration of the plan you purchased, and can be cancelled at any time from your Profile page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Payments

All payments are processed securely by PayHere (Pvt) Ltd, a licensed payment service provider in Sri Lanka. PassMark does not store your card or bank details. Prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund requests are handled per our Refund Policy. In summary: you may submit a refund request from your Profile page, your access remains active while our team reviews it, and you will be notified by SMS once a decision is made.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, automate, or scrape quiz content or answers outside normal use of the Service.
• Share your account credentials or purchased access with other students.
• Upload or submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content through any part of the Service.
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

All questions, explanations, and materials on PassMark are either created by our team or licensed for use on the platform, and remain the property of PassMark or its licensors. You may use them for personal study only, and may not redistribute or resell them.

8. Availability & Changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, add, or remove features (including pricing) from time to time; material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

9. Limitation of Liability

PassMark is a study aid and does not guarantee specific exam results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PassMark is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.
